  3. Ah, nothing like a champagne foot bath as the rest of the city burns to the ground! Happy New Year!

  6. Is this drawing new? It's really well-done. What's Max doing with that woman, though? He doesn't even like girls!

Oh, and good to see this blog's not dead. Just in time for Sam and Max's 25th anniversary, too!

Any news about getting back to work on a new Sam & Max comic?

  8. You could do a print set with all the christmas cards, like Graham Anable does (http://grickle.bigcartel.com/product/the-children-of-the-night-their-dad-print-set). I like to collect such things :-) .

  9. The not-so-subtle subtleties (burning the city) are what make this duo so amazingly iconic. This piece wholly captures their characters (imho), and is definitely a new favorite for me. Thanks for sharing the art, and have a Happy New Year!

  11. Dear Steve,

I've been looking for a job for nearly 2 months and I have my first 2 interviews today (one being an audition). I'm going to wear my Sam & MAx T-shirt I bought from you at Comic-Con. Here's hoping!

    Love,
    DaisyL

  12. I like how Max has apparently stolen a police helmet; it's very Wodehouse-esque.

  13. Thanks all!
Daisy L: Hope it worked out.
Oecobius: He's wearing a fez. Perhaps from the super secret Church of Max.

  14. Let's see if I can finally access this... I've been having lots of trouble on this computer, for some reason.

Anyway, I love the tuxes you gave the Freelance Police! Max seems happy... he isn't used to wearing suits, let alone suits with vests! Sam, of course, is in his element.

I'm hoping that 2012 will be a major year for the Freelance Police, and I'm crossing my fingers for a Special Edition of Sam and Max Hit the Road, as well as the release of, well, you know. THAT game. I have been trying as hard as I can to get Telltale and LucasArts to work on that game... hopefully that will happen this year.

And maybe some kind of new animated series like on Adult Swim or something?

    Here's hoping!

    Sincerely,
    David D.
