For the first installment of Tattoo Friday here is a recent acquisition by Sam & Max fan Nicole Cancio, who I once met at ComicCon sporting an amazing home built Sam & Max costume. The idea of fans having my characters scribed on their bodies used to make me dizzy but now I wholeheartedly embrace it. If you have 'em send 'em to stevepurcell@hotmail.com.
Oh wow that's an awesome tattoo :D
ReplyDeleteSometimes I'm tempted to get my favourite characters permently printed on me but I'ma big ol' coward at the end of the day!
This is great, maybe I'll finally get an idea for my Sam and Max tattoo.
ReplyDeleteThat's really awesome. It must be a huge honor to have a silly cartoon you draw for fun to be engraved upon someone's skin permanently.
ReplyDeleteOr at least kinda creepy.
Silly cartoon?!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's great, but it would be better to have one of a rat eating a snake, with the caption "Born to watch my rat eat a snake"
ReplyDeleteJust kidding, it looks awesome :D
I think I should post a page of tattoo designs for folks to print and take to their local tat artist.
ReplyDeleteBeing a silly cartoon isn't a bad thing. I wasn't trying to insult it. It's in my top ten favorite things in the world, at least.
ReplyDeleteI grovel at your feet, sir. It is an honor to have you mad at me.
In this context, "silly" obviously means profound and thought-provoking.
ReplyDeleteI'd like a page of tattoo designs to print and take to my local tat artist. What the tat artist chooses to do with the page is up to their discretion.
Does Max have a tattoo of her on HIS shoulder? That'd be weird.
ReplyDeleteMax is naked, so I think we would have seen it by now.
ReplyDeleteI've never had a tattoo because I've never found something to be tattooed, now I know :D
